Golff is made by Derik Silva for families. We collect as little as a card game can and we never sell, share or advertise with it.
What we store
- A hashed Game Center ID. When you sign in to Game Center, Apple gives Golff an identifier for your player. We store a one-way hash of it (we cannot turn it back into your Apple ID) and the opaque team-scoped player ID Apple provides, so your friends' phones can show your Game Center name to them. We never see your name, email or Apple ID.
- Your golfer and golf name. The golfer you dress up and a golf name picked from two fixed word lists (never free text), shown on leaderboards and at tables.
- Game data. Your Daily scores and times, the moves of online matches (so the server can check every move), tournament brackets, and your progress (coins, XP, courses, cosmetics) so it can be restored on a new phone.
- A push token, only if you allow notifications, so we can tell you it is your turn.
What we never do
- No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or sites, no third-party data sharing.
- No chat, no free text anywhere in the app, no links to the web from gameplay.
- No account, email or password. Solo play and the Daily work entirely offline.
Where it lives
On servers run by Vercel and Supabase in the United States, reachable only through Golff's own server. The app never holds a database key.
Children
Golff is rated 4+ and built so that no player can send anyone a message. It is not directed at children under 13 in the sense of COPPA, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone.
Your choices
Play without signing in to Game Center and nothing leaves your phone. To delete everything we hold for your Game Center player, email support@golff.app from the device that plays Golff; we delete it within 30 days and confirm.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes and the app's next update says so.

Something wrong, a rule you play differently, a card you'd like to see? Write to support@golff.app. A real person (Derik) reads it, usually the same day.
Joining a friend's match
Your friend's invite is a link like golff.app/join/BCD234. With Golff installed it opens straight on the join screen; without it, the page shows the code so you can type it in once you have the app.
TestFlight
Golff is in early access on TestFlight. Email support@golff.app and we'll send an invite.
Restoring your progress
Sign in to Game Center on the new phone and open Golff: your golfer, coins, courses and Daily history come back on the first launch.
